What Today Means To Me....

Today is a new day, the marking of the death of an era and the birth of another. As terrible, detest, corrupt, immoral and mal that "THEY" say this world is, this world is still where and what we live in now. With that said, let's expend our energies, thoughts and efforts on correcting the wrongs and magnifying the posetive. America, the country stolen and founded for white men) is the single most powerful country in the world and today, after over 200 years of being a country, American elects it's first non- Caucasian president. Given Americas history of extreme prejudice, racism, and segregation it is a blessing to be alive to witness the maturation resulting in this turning point.

The encouragement that is provided by what transpired today is pivotal for far more than just the black community. Today, our country is finally our country. Today, our country is finally equal in terms of opportunity. The highest position in the country is finally open to the best person for the job. Today is the day of change. If for the next four years no policies have changed, no tax is lowered, and no new jobs are created, it will still remain that at least now EVERYONE has a chance. Determination combined with a undeniable hustle will result in the outcome it warrants. On this day let us be thankful for what we have and use that which we have to create what we desire.
